Tia Mowry is basking in the glow of being single. The Sister, Sister star left her husband of over two decades to dedicate more of her time to herself, her kids, and her businesses. The transition has been seemless for Mowry, who seems to be happier and happier with every passing day. She spent Valentine’s Day in a bikini while her divorce speeds towards a conclusion.
Tia Mowry flaunted her stuff in a form-fitting black bikini while rocking an oversized blazer with heels. In the clip, she said, “POV: just being and loving yourself is a flex.” She took her moves from the hallway in her house to the front of her home before hanging in the backyard eating fruits. She capped it off by coming out of the pool looking beautiful. The clip features Miley Cyrus song “Flowers” and is an obvious nod to its accompanying video. In the song, Cyrus singles about a relationship that went wrong and how she is finding new strength in being single.
Cyrus wrote the song about her split from her husband, Liam Hemsworth, in 2020. In the video, Cyrus sports an oversized blazer too, but sans the bikini and dancers around the Hollywood home, she used to share with Hemsworth. While Tia has alluded to her split from Cory Hardrict being amicable and sans the drama, her choice of song could mean that things are getting ugly in the final days of her divorce. It was reported that Cory has been pushing back against a prenup he signed early on in their union and trying to cash in on some of Tia’s earnings. Despite this, they still put on a united front for their children during Christmas.
The latest on their divorce is that Tia finally turned over her finances to the court. Reports confirm, “Tia has provided her ex with a list of her income and expenses per month. The move signals the two are at the tail end of their negotiations, and the case will soon come to an end.” The pair are looking for joint legal and physical custody of their two children, Cree and Cairo.
