Never Have I Ever’s recent update revealed a guest star who will feature in Season 3 of Netflix’s smash-hit series. Deacon Phillippe, the musician son of Cruel Intentions stars Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe will make an appearance in the show’s upcoming third and last season.
It wasn’t long ago that Witherspoon, best known for her role in Legally Blonde, set box-office records with Hollywood successes in the late 1990s and early 2000s. After all, the 18-year-old seems to be following in his parent’s footsteps. Deacon will make his acting debut as Parker in the coming-of-age comedy series Never Have I Ever.
The former couple (divorced in early 2006) have two children together, Ava Elizabeth Phillippe and Deacon Reese Phillippe, and remain amicable and co-parent the kids. According to reports, their son’s acting debut occurred only weeks after he graduated from high school. Deacon Phillippe will now explore acting and singing careers.
Parker will be played by Deacon Phillippe in Season 3 of Never Have I Ever.
As previously mentioned, Deacon Phillippe will feature as Parker in the third season of Netflix’s comedic series Never Have I Ever. The 18-year-old will allegedly feature as a guest star in a handful of episodes with series regulars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, who plays the titular character Devi Vishwakumar, and Darren Barnet, who plays high school hot-shot, Paxton. According to an official press statement, Deacon will take over as Parker in the next penultimate season of the program, which is set to premiere on August 12, 2022. Parker is a member of an illustrious private school’s debate team and a competitor to Devi throughout her difficult high school years.
Parker has a privileged upbringing that enables him to sail around the school while wearing his party hat at all times. Fans can only hope that he doesn’t turn out to be one of those affluent private school brats at this point. There is little doubt that the newcomer would get entangled in Vishwakumar’s business. One issue remains unanswered: will Parker wind up on Devi’s good or bad side?
Phillippe’s role is introduced in the Netflix release, which states,
“Devi’s debate team adversary from a well-funded private school; he’s able to coast through debate competitions due to his school’s advantages and is always up for a good time.”
