The pair married in 1995, four years after Tunie divorced her first husband, Georgia lawyer Greg Bouquett. The former couple married in 1991 and had no children together. After that, the actress married Generet, and they were the picture of happiness.

According to TMZ, Tunie and Generet divorced amicably, with the actress expressing her excitement for the future. They requested privacy and did not identify the cause for their divorce. “It is with considerable regret that Gregory and I are parting ways.” However, I am optimistic about what the future holds. “As we enter this new chapter of our life, we beg for privacy and thank you for your support,” Tunie said in a statement. Their divorce was announced a few years after they had divulged secrets of their long and happy marriage.
