Taika Waititi, a New Zealand director, allegedly married his girlfriend Rita Ora in an intimate ceremony. According to The Sun, Waititi, 46, and Ora, 31, exchanged nuptials in London and Ora changed her surname to Mrs. Waititi-Ora.
A source informed the newspaper, revealing specifics of their private ceremony:
“It was a pretty personal ceremony that was incredibly meaningful for everyone present.” Their loved ones can see how much they adore one other.”
The source also said that the Poison singer intends to keep her private life discreet, although the pair may be planning a major celebration soon.
“Despite living in the limelight, Rita is keen to keep the relationship as private as possible and didn’t want to make a big deal about the wedding.” A large showbiz-style celebration is planned to commemorate, but don’t expect it to be marketed to the highest-bidding magazine.”
While this is Rita Ora’s first marriage, Taika Waititi was previously married to Chelsea Winstanley, with whom he has two children.

Taika Waititi and Chelsea Winstanley first met when Winstanley interviewed the director for a television documentary series on Maori artists. In 2011, they married in New York City. Winstanley is a New Zealand-based film producer who has worked on documentaries and short films such as Merata: How Mum Decolonized the Screen, Te Whakarauora Tangata, Ebony Society, Meathead, Night Shift, Sonny, My Older Brother, Waru, Sech’el, Little King, Forgive Me, and others.
