Shannon Purser made her television debut as Barbara “Barb” Holland in Stranger Things. She seemed to be a key character in the first season of the Netflix series. Meanwhile, Centineo said that he watched Stranger Things because Barb was his favorite character and that he quit watching once she died. The pair initially met in person for a Sierra Burgess screen test before having lunch together at a café to get to know one other better. They discussed everything since they were attempting to get to know one other quickly, almost like “speed dating.”
They eventually became friends after connecting through their previous relationship. “With him, you get what you see.
