THE PIECE OF9, the 12th mini album by K-pop boy group SF9, will be released in January. On December 19, 2022, the band published a poster for the album’s title single, Puzzle, on social media. The compact album, along with the title tune, will be published on January 9, 2023, according to the fascinating poster, which portrays a shooting target. According to reports, the title track and album title relate to the process of assembling the dispersed bits (PIECE) into a whole SF9.
Though the shooting-themed artwork conveys a dark and ominous feeling, additional information about the album’s concept and tracklist will be disclosed in the following weeks. The group’s first album in six months is THE PIECE OF9. Their most recent release was the 11th mini album, THE WAVE OF9, which was promoted in July 2022 by six of the group’s nine members – Jaeyoon, Dawon, Zuho, Taeyang, Hwiyoung, and Chani.

The SF9 Rowoon will be on the forthcoming album THE PIECE OF9
Rowoon will join the members of THE PIECE OF9 after missing the latest SF9 album owing to clashing dates with the shooting of his drama, according to the group’s agency FNC Entertainment. Because Youngbin and Inseong have been doing their necessary military duty since March, the group will market the record as a seven-piece outfit. Given that Rowoon had to miss the group’s US tour as well, fans have been eagerly anticipating his return to the stage.
The presence of the Extraordinary You actor in the new album has only heightened fans’ anticipation for its release. Fantasy (the group’s official fanbase) exploded on Twitter in celebration, with many claiming it was precisely what fans had been waiting for, calling it “the greatest news ever. Meanwhile, Rowoon has risen to unprecedented heights in the performing world. His drama, The King’s Affection, co-created with actress Park Eun-bin, made history by becoming the first Korean series to receive an International Emmy Award. It received the award for Best Telenovela at the 2022 Emmys, which was held in New York on November 21, 2022.

The six active members just returned from their successful US tour, LIVE FANTASY #4 DELIGHT, the group’s first visit to the United States in over three and a half years.
Beginning with a three-night performance in Seoul, the band performed in five US cities: New York, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, and Los Angeles. They played Scream, the title track off their most recent album, THE WAVE OF9, as well as some of their best songs. Taeyang from SF9 will be seen performing at the 2022 MBC Gayo Daejejeon on December 31, 2022. The idol joins a roster that includes MAMAMOO, NCT 127, Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, and power rookies NMIXX and IVE.
