Rebecca Ryan, who portrayed Lydia Chambers in the renowned serial drama Coronation Street, is expecting her first child. Ryan revealed her pregnancy on social media by posting photographs of herself standing with a Christmas tree in sparkling attire. According to the caption,
“After marrying the guy of my dreams, I thought this year couldn’t get much better, but it turns out it can… I can’t wait till 2023 to become a mummy x.”
In one of the photos, she was seen smiling and seemed to be excited. This was followed by another picture of her clutching her baby belly. Lydia was Finn Chambers’ mother and an Underworld PA. She originally arrived as the PA for an Underworld customer and met Sarah Barlow, with whom she later became acquainted. Lydia had an ancient connection with her husband, Adam, according to the latter. Adam abandoned her when she got pregnant at the age of 19.
Out of envy, she also began a harassment campaign against the couple, intruding into their apartment and sending presents and threatening letters.
