Michigan State University is the latest school to face the ongoing crisis in this country. A 43-year-old man entered the campus on yesterday and took the lives of three individuals. One of the three individuals was the niece of reality star Deelishis.
Deelishis took to Instagram to let her followers know her niece, Arielle Diamond, attends MSU, and her family has not heard from her since the incident. According to the post, her niece was in the same room where the incident occurred. Moments later, another family member commented on Deelishis’ Instagram post stating, “My sweet beautiful niece… RIP baby girl.”
Arielle Diamond’s last post on social media was New Year’s Eve, where she shared a recap of 2022 with her followers, stating, “2022 was definitely a year of fun.” The young lady also started a Youtube channel where she shared vlogs about her life and tips for Christmas gifts and prom. Friends, family, and followers are shocked by the news. Many have taken to her Instagram account to send their condolences.
Reuters is reporting the incident happened at an academic building called Berkey Hall and the MSU Union building. Law enforcement has stated the 43-year-old unidentified man did not have any affiliation with the school, and his motive remains unclear. In addition to taking three lives, five individuals were injured. The suspect was later found after taking his own life shortly after the incident.
