Vincius Jr. a Real Madrid star, has revealed that he is unconcerned about money or a new contract and is determined to stay with Los Blancos. This season, the Brazilian has emerged as one of Europe’s standout performers, but he is currently earning one of the lowest salaries in Real Madrid’s first team.
Vinicius Jr. Early life at Real Madrid
Vinicius Jr. joined Real Madrid from Flamengo in a €46 million deal in 2018. He has struggled to maintain consistency despite flashes of brilliance during his time with the Spanish giants. However, in 14 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions this season, the Brazilian has scored nine goals and provided five assists.
Vinicius Jr.’s current contract has four years left on it, but he is due for a contract extension because he is one of Real Madrid’s lowest earners. The 21-year-old has stated that he is unconcerned about money and is determined to remain at Real Madrid.
“I’m very calm, I want to stay and I don’t care how long my next contract will be or how much they will pay me. All that matters to me is the satisfaction of being in the best club in the world,” Vinicius Jr. told TNTSportsBR.
“From the club, they haven’t told me anything, but I am very relaxed because there is still a lot of time. Of course, I want to renew and stay here a long time, but I am relaxed, everything will come at the right moment.”
Vincius Jr. is currently ahead of Eden Hazard, Gareth Bale, Marco Asensio, and Rodrygo in the Real Madrid pecking order. This season, he has emerged as an important member of Carlo Ancelotti’s starting lineup.
The Brazilian’s goals have helped Real Madrid climb to second place in La Liga. With a game in hand, Ancelotti’s side is currently one point behind league leaders Real Sociedad.
Vinicius Jr., a Real Madrid winger, has quickly established himself as one of Europe’s brightest young prospects this season. In recent months, the Brazilian has developed a desire to score goals and provide an end product.
English clubs interested in Vinicius Jr
Premier League giants Chelsea and Liverpool are eager to sign forwards and are likely to try to entice Vinicius Jr. to join them. Real Madrid has yet to offer him a contract extension, and he is one of the team’s lowest earners.
Liverpool failed to sign a new forward this summer and may look to sign Vinicius Jr. the following summer. Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is said to be dissatisfied with the performances of Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech and may look to sign a new attacking midfielder next summer.
