Giovani Lo Celso’s early life and career
Giovani, nicknamed “Monito,” was born on April 9, 1996, in Rosario, Argentina, to parents Juan Pere Lo Celso and Sandra. He grew up in Rosario’s Sarmiento district with his three siblings: two elder sisters, Luciana and Agustina, and a younger brother, Francesco. Francesco is following in his brother’s footsteps. He is also a professional footballer, presently playing for his local club Rosario Central.
Celso began his youth career with Rosario Central at the age of 14 and made his league debut in 2015. The next year, he signed a five-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain.
