Jurgen Klopp has had a relatively quiet summer, with the only notable signing at Anfield being Ibrahima Konate. He agreed to terms before the end of May. According to recent reports, Liverpool wants to add more players to their roster.

Liverpool is reportedly considering a €30 million per year contract offer to beat Real Madrid to Mbappe’s signature. They know Real Madrid is a severe contender for Mbappe’s signature and are prepared to offer a lucrative deal to entice him away from the Spanish giants.

According to Defensa Central, the Reds intend to outbid Real Madrid for Mbappe this summer. Liverpool is now fourth in the Premier League, and despite goals from Mohamed Salah and others, they appear to be lacking a striker.

He was previously linked to Liverpool and Real Madrid. Mbappe appeared to be on his way out of Paris in the summer after informing the club of his intention to leave. Last summer, however, the Frenchman was denied permission to leave the club. But, when his contract with PSG expires next summer, he will almost certainly go.

Last summer, Madrid attempted to take advantage of Mbappe’s one-year contract by making a second offer for him worth €200 million (£171.7 million). However, it was rejected by PSG, and the Parisians entirely ignored a third offer from the Spanish club. After failing to sign him at the time, Madrid will almost certainly try to sign the PSG star again next summer, providing stiff competition for Liverpool.
