Py was married to Jean-Francois, a former footballer, and central defender. They have two boys, Lucas and Theo, as a result of their marriage. They initially received Lucas, and 15 months later, Theo, their second son. Jean-Francois started his professional career in Toulouse.
He later played for Sochaux and Marseille before moving to Spain with Compostela at the age of 30 in 1998. He retired from Rayo Vallecano in 2002, at the age of 33. Py is no longer married to her husband. They split up over two decades ago.

When Atleti informed Py that her boys might go far and had a lot of abilities, Py understood that both of her sons were endowed with footballing potential and could be football players. In an interview, Py said that when her husband left her, she wanted her boys to participate in sports as well, so she enrolled them in a club near her gym.
She also had to raise two children as a single mother, which was difficult, but she always did all she could to secure their well-being. She worked as a beautician from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and she added that if there had been a father, they might have shared all of this. Because her whole family was in France, she had to handle everything on her own. According to her, as soon as she arrived at work, she considered the day’s schedule and kept track of the time so that her boys did not miss training or go elsewhere. It took a long time to wait. That was sometimes too hot, sometimes too cold, but she remained with them all the time because she knew it was what her boys wanted.
Theo wants France to win the World Cup, and his brother
Theo scored his first goal for France in the fifth minute of their 2022 FIFA World Cup semi-final against Morocco. France advanced to Sunday’s final match against Argentina after defeating Morocco 2-0. Theo hopes to win the World Cup for France as well as for his brother Lucas, who was forced to withdraw from the tournament after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) 13 minutes into the opening group match against Australia.
Theo stood in for his elder brother. In an interview, Theo said that his brother’s injuries were devastating for them, as well as for his brother. He has been on the phone with his brother since he left Qatar. He also said that he wants to play every match in order to return the trophy to his brother.
