Conan O’Brien, the famous television personality, just sold his podcast company, Team Coco, to SiriusXM. Following the agreement, Conan O’Brien’s interview podcast Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, as well as ten other podcasts, will join the SiriusXM podcast network. The episodes will also be available on other podcasting sites. As part of the $150 million transactions, O’Brien agreed to a five-year contract with the satellite radio behemoth.
He will create a comedy channel for SiriusXM’s main radio service, as well as video material from his podcasts and late-night programs, live events, and merchandise. SiriusXM will also welcome Team Coco’s personnel. Several podcasts have been bought in recent months by firms such as Amazon, Spotify, and others. Exclusive podcasts may help attract listeners to subscription-based services. It may also draw listeners to free platforms, allowing them to start advertising enterprises. Scott Greenstein, Sirius XM’s President, and Chief Content Officer said,

For almost 28 years, O’Brien has been known as the host of late-night discussion programs. He previously worked as a writer on Saturday Night Live and The Simpsons. The 59-year-net old’s worth is estimated to be approximately $200 million as of March 2023, according to sources.
