“Halloween Baking Championship” Is Set To Be Released On Food Network

The Food Network’s Halloween Baking Championship is about to return with some violent, frightening, spooky, but delectable sweets. The baking competition will pit 12 finalists against each other for a $25,000 cash prize and an all-expenses-paid vacation to ten haunted homes. The bakers will compete in a spooky hotel, which will be hosted by John Henson. The Halloween Baking Championship’s summary read:

“This season of HALLOWEEN BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP, host John Henson is the caretaker of a haunted hotel and will welcome the competitors for an eight-week stay, unless their baked goods fail to impress the judges, in which case they will have to “check out” and take the elevator to the mysterious 13th floor, from which guests never return.

It went on:

Stephanie Boswell, Carla Hall, and Zac Young decide which devilishly delectable sweets win the title of Halloween Baking Champion and an all-expenses-paid vacation to America’s ten most haunted hotels.”

The Food Network’s Halloween Baking Championship will air on September 12 at 9 p.m. ET.

The Halloween Baking Championship: What to Expect

The contenders in this holiday-themed baking competition will battle to create unique, exciting sweets that will both shock and tickle the judges’ tastes. The bakers will compete for eight weeks while staying at the hotel. Each episode of the program will include two challenges in which these Halloween aficionados must make recipes based on certain themes. To impress the three judges, they will be needed to make a cake with faces during the first episode, Welcome to Hotel Henson, followed by a cake with blood spatters. The first episode’s summary read:

“When presenter John Henson brings 12 Halloween aspirants to Hotel Henson and instructs them to make faces in pie, no body part is safe. Then it’s blood in blood out as they use blood splatter cakes to dazzle judges Stephanie Boswell, Zac Young, and Carla Hall.”
