Angelson also appeared in the DC Comics program Titans. Her other significant works include two episodes of the television series This Is Us. Aside from television and movies, Angelson has been in Broadway shows such as the Tony Award-winning Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. In the forthcoming season of the award-winning series, Angelson will play the pro-Serena Mrs. Gladys Wheeler.

Despite her character’s affinity for the series’ adversary, Angelson told TV Line that Gladys Wheeler is not a “evil man.”

She continued, saying:

“I couldn’t say, ‘I’m playing a horrible man,’ because I was playing Mrs. Wheeler. ‘I’m portraying someone who is prepared to do everything to save the human race, and that’s what we’re up against,’ I had to explain. So, do I really want to be the person I am? Perhaps not. But I accept it as my reality, and that is what I am doing. That’s how I got away with it.”
