The Zimbabwean orphanage youth receive vocational training to prepare them for adulthood thanks to funding support from the Berry Farm. Interestingly, the blueberry is very symbolic to the couple because berries are crops that produce fruit for a long period of time. According to the farm’s website, “if you nurture berries and properly care for them, your investment will last decades.”
