Comedian Daniel Sosa is going to host the creative reality competition Piata Masters! 2022 on Netflix on Friday, December 23, 2022, at 3:01 a.m. Seven teams will compete for the renowned title of Piata Masters with their colorful and imaginative work at the event. Their inventions must wow the most demanding and fickle of juries: a bunch of finicky toddlers.
A piata is a kind of container constructed of papier-mâché, ceramic, or fabric. It is then adorned and loaded with sweets, before breaking apart as part of a celebration. Talented artists and innovators from throughout the nation will compete to make colorful paper creatures and previously unseen items from scratch. However, the challenge won’t be straightforward since piñatesters will keep a careful check on the entrants’ concoctions. Many guests will also be on the program, where the winner will get a million pesos.

Daniel Sosa, a Mexican comedian, and writer were born in November 1993. He attended Unitec Campus Marina-Cuitláhuac and majored in communication. He started doing stand-up comedy about the time he started college in 2012. Sosa is regarded as one of the top exponents of the new generation of comedians in Mexico. Daniel, the presenter of Piata Masters!, has been in multiple Mexican television series as well as other programs for different streaming platforms such as Netflix and Amazon.
He has two Netflix comedy specials, Sosafado in 2017 and Maleducado in 2019. In the former, which was conducted by Jan Suter and Raúl Campos, Daniel spoke about housing arrangements, work-related issues, school challenges, and inquiries about women, among other themes. Meanwhile, in his second Netflix comedy special Maleducado, the artist focused on his background, Mexican customs, and the issue with the movie Coco. Marcos Bucay directed the film.
Daniel’s third YouTube comedy special, Ya no es lo mismo, had over 3.5 million views when it was published in 2020. The comedian has also lent his voice to animated characters from films and television shows such as Ferdinand (20th Century Fox) and Scissor Seven (Netflix).
Daniel has had three successful national tours previous to 2020, according to improv.com. His tour was completely sold out in Mexico City’s Metropólitan and Pabellón M. The term “responsibility” refers to the act of determining whether or not a person is responsible for his or her own actions. He has also been in the Casa Comedy TV series Los Aficionados with Carolina Moran and Chumel Torres. Daniel Sosa even had an interview with Eugenio Derbez as DJ Erwin.

Piata Masters!, a Netflix original series, will feature 14 artists working in pairs to create different types of piatas. A panel of four youngsters will assess the artwork, paying close attention to every detail, including the colors utilized. The teaser for Piata Masters! shows team members sprinting around the room in search of basic resources. They are then shown on the paper creating their designs before bringing them to life.
As time runs short, the teams get nervous as one or more problems appear in their final product. Even the children are concerned about whether the contenders will accomplish the challenge on time. Viewers will observe the youngsters pounding the piatas and some masterpieces being detonated, leaving the children ecstatic. Finally, the winning team will get the trophy as well as a financial award of one million pesos.
