John Henson Will Be Featured As The Host Of The “Halloween Baking Championship”

Season 8 of the Halloween Baking Championship will be hosted by comedian John Henson. The program launches on Food Network on Monday, September 12 at 9/8c. 12 bakers will battle in the forthcoming season to survive their dramatic stay at Hotel Henson and earn $25,000. The show’s synopsis is as follows:

“The season begins with presenter John Henson bringing the participants to Camp Devil’s Food Lake, where only their baking abilities will help them survive.”

John Henson, the host of Food Network’s Halloween Baking Championship, is a comedian. He has worked in the entertainment sector for almost 20 years as an actor, presenter, producer, and writer. Henson, who was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1967, studied acting in New York City at Boston University, Circle in the Square, Playwrights Horizons, and Three of Us Studios. At the age of eight, the television personality began acting and also tried his hand at singing and dancing. He was nicknamed Skunk Boy and Johnny Boy because of the white birthmark on the right side of his head.

In October 2016, Henson appeared as a celebrity guest on Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity. He reached the semi-finals and received a contribution to a children’s organization that he and his wife, Jill, support. Henson now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children, a boy and a daughter. Henson’s mother died after a protracted illness five weeks before his marriage to Jill.

The Halloween Baking Championship will premiere on Monday, with the bakers “creating murderous cakes, frightening cupcakes, and more to display their abilities in competitions that pay tribute to classic horror flicks.” Carla Hall, Stephanie Boswell, and Zac Young, the judges, will “decide whose devilishly delectable sweets receive $25,000 and the title of Halloween Baking Champion!” The 12 bakers who will spend eight weeks in the haunted hotel competing in various baking competitions are:

The show’s winner will earn a tour to the ten most haunted hotels in America. Henson will host season 8 of the Halloween Baking Championship on Food Network on Monday. The program is also available on Disney+.
