On Saturday, June 25, actress Lily Anne Harrison announced on Instagram that she and fiancé Peter Facinelli are expecting their first child. The Vanished actress showed off her pregnant belly in an Instagram photo with the caption: Following the post, Harrison’s fiancé Facinelli responded in the comments area with a witty response. The Twilight Saga star responded by writing:
“You’re expecting a child? Why didn’t you inform me?”
This would make Facinelli a father for the fourth time. From his former marriage with Jennie Garth, the 48-year-old New York native has three kids, Luca Bella (24), Lola Ray (19), and Fiona Eve (15). The former couple was married for nearly a decade before splitting up in 2012.
Peter Facinelli and Lily Anne Harrison’s Relationship
During their trip to Mexico in December 2020, Facinelli proposed to Lily Anne Harrison, according to a US magazine. According to reports, the Supergirl star proposed to Harrison at a meal near the ocean. However, according to PEOPLE magazine, the pair got engaged around New Year’s Eve, 2020.
Later, in an interview with PEOPLE in October, the actor revealed how the epidemic forced them to postpone their wedding preparations. Facinelli informed the newspaper that he intended to marry the next year. He said:
“I want (the wedding) to take place in a world without masks… We’re not in a hurry. We are loyal to one another and share a life together.”
The actor went on to say:
“I’m already married. Except for the piece of paper and the celebration, we have everything!”

Peter Facinelli was previously engaged to Thor actress Jamie Alexander, but the couple called it quits and divorced in 2016. The actor is believed to have started dating Lily Anne Harrison in late 2016. According to PEOPLE, Facinelli’s children were there during the couple’s Mexico vacation when they got engaged. The magazine also said that Lily Anne Harrison’s parents were there at the time. Facinelli announced their engagement on Instagram on January 2, 2021, by posting photos of themselves at the beach. The actor wrote in the caption of the post:
“A beautiful night with this amazing lady. The ideal way to close 2019.”
CVLUX magazine placed the pair on the cover. Harrison discussed her response to their engagement in an interview with the newspaper. She stated:
“I knew it was coming; I just didn’t believe it was going to happen on that trip, partly because I didn’t think he had a ring.”
Meanwhile, in August of last year, the couple traveled to Hawaii with what looked to be family members. With the current pregnancy announcement, the couple may have to postpone their wedding ceremony even again. It’s possible that Peter Facinelli and Lily Anne Harrison may postpone their wedding till after the birth of their first child together. No official dates for the anticipated birth or wedding ceremony have been publicized as of yet.
