George Harrison was born on February 25, 1943, and died on November 29, 2001. Harrison was born in the English city of Liverpool in 1943 and died in the American city of Los Angeles. Twelve Arnold Grove is where he was born. He was the youngest of four children.
His father’s name was Harold Hargreaves, also known as Hargrove, and his mother’s name was Louse. George lost his father in 1978, and his mother left the World in 1970. Harold had worked as a bus driver and even as a ship’s steward for White Star Line.
George was the fourth child in a family of four. His firstborn sister was born in 1931, and his two brothers, Harold and Peter, in 1934 and 1940, respectively.
George was five years old when he started at Dove Dale Primary School in 1948. Here, he took eleven plus exams and did very well, earning himself a place at Liverpool Institute.
